Hotel information

.Residence Lundborg - a house with an old spirit. The building that is now Hotel Residence Lundborg used to be called "U modre'ho Iva" which means "At the Blue Lion's" in English. The very first note talking about the building is from 1336. A few decenniums later King Karl IV ordered the construction of a new bridge to replace the Judith Bridge, which was destroyed during severe weather and was flooded in 1342. The remains of Bridge Judith can still be admired at the entrance, in the dining room, and in the wine cellar of the hotel. During the last hours of the 30 year long war the Swedes were stopped at the Charles Bridge 1648 in Prague. The building which nowadays houses the hotel was probably renovated or additions were made around 1770. The beautiful paintings on the ceilings of many rooms probably derive from this renovation..

The Good Things In Life, The warm-up for the daytime or night-time activities takes place in the bar and cafe "The Blue Lion". You can also make a reservation in our wine cellar, where you can try some of our interesting vintage wines. Why not together with some cheese or swedish specialities. Come and have a seat in wine cellar with original extant part of the oldest stone bridge in Europe - Judith Bridge. We can arrange for your wine tasting, private party or cocktail party in quiet place in the heart of historical Prague.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome. Up to two children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
